Our Trip to Bali
We went to Bali for 10 days, and it was one of my favourite trips so far! So much so that I am trying to convince Davey we should move there. Here is everything we saw and did while in Bali!
Seminyak - Days 1-3
Our first few days we spent in Seminyak, not far from the airport. We chose this area because it was full of cute cafes and beach clubs so that we could spend our first few days adjusting to the time zone and really relaxing. Below is a list of cafe’s we visited and the beach clubs we hit!
Beach Clubs:
Potato Head Beach Club
Tiiga
W Hotel
Cafes:
Balibola
Kynd Community
Cafe Organic
Motel Mexicola
Neon Palms
Revolver Espresso
Sea Circus
Mad Pops
Ubud - Days 4-7
We spent 4 days in Ubud, which was actually not the plan. In the middle of the trip we had planned to rent scooters and head to visit a temple and the Water Palace, but when you watch my video you will see that we ended up not renting scooters because we were too nervous! So we stayed in Ubud and explored there, which was great because we ended up going to Tegalalang Rice Terraces two mornings in a row! We checked out the Ubud Market which was huge! We of course also visited the Ubud Sacred Monkey Forest, and ate our hearts out! Milk and Madu has two for one pizza nights on Sundays and Tuesdays and it is a must! Probably some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! We also skipped the Bali Swing which I know is a big deal but just seemed too touristy for us to enjoy. But totally personal preference. Here is where we ate and a couple more beach clubs we hit because that heat!
Beach Clubs:
Folk Pool & Gardens
The Onion
Skinni
Cafes:
Clear Cafe
Milk and Madu
The Birds and The Bees
Folk Restaurant
Canggu - Days 8-10
We ended our trip in Canggu and I so regret not listening to every other youtube video that said Canggu is the bomb! We arrived in Canggu and I immediately knew I was about to fall in love. It was the coziest, most laid back little beach town filled with coffee shops, galleries, cute boutiques and the nicest people! We had so much fun in Canggu and I want to be back in this town, asap! While we were here we witnessed one of the best sunsets, actually the best sunset I have ever seen in my life! I also got the best, cheapest massage right before we left and it was so so worth it! I miss you Canggu. Also, forgive that sloppy looking ice cream, such is the reality of hot temperatures and photo walls when people don’t move. Here is where we ate, as we mostly spent time at the beach for these couple days, but I will put a list of the cute stores we walked into!
