12 Things x Blossoms
So I'm not really sure if this is a thing that a number of people do, but I always love reading Amber FIllerup's 12 Things, so I thought I would do one! She lists 12 random thoughts and it's a much more fun and interactive way to get to know each other! So here are 12 random thoughts from me and this springy outfit!
1. The blossoms in Calgary last such a short time, so we really had to take advantage of them when we can!
2. I attended a spin class this week at YYC Cycle. I was coaxed into it by my friend Lauren under the guise of a Disney themed birthday celebration for one of our favourite spin instructors, only to arrive and discover, it was just a regular spin class! We had a laugh though.
3. I've also been trying to do a blogilates ab workout every morning! Cassey Ho is incredible and my abs hurt, every single time! I highly recommend.
4. I am pretty busy these days with all the wedding planning! I have a couple bridal showers coming up, so I think I will do another 12 Things post all wedding themed, let me know if that's something you'd be interested in below in the comments!
5. In a few weeks I get to finally visit New York City for the first time, and to top it all off I get to cheer on my fiancé as he teaches there! If you have any recommendations for me, comment below!
6. Davey and I have actually been rewatching Prison Break since they just released season 5 after some time off the air. Are you watching it, or watching it for the first time?
7. I was in Vancouver this past weekend and it was so fun visiting some of the best friends! Vancouver is so beautiful and has an endless amount of good food.
8. When I moved into my new apartment, we did so good getting everything painted and looking nice and now I literally only have one box left and it has been sitting there for weeks! How do I motivate myself to get that final box unpacked and those last pictures hung?
9. I am still thinking about how incredible that Royal Wedding was! Meghan's veil was breathtaking and all the littles were too cute!
10. I recently have been looking for a new foundation and my friend recommended the Armani one and I am afraid to say I am hooked! I just haven't convinced myself to buy it, still living off that Sephora sample.
11. Today I was at an indoor pool for the first time in years and I was reminded how much I hate indoor pools; the smell of chlorine, all the germs and floating bandaids.. So I am really looking forward to some time at the outdoor pools in Calgary!
12. Tonight we discovered that Una Calgary on 17th Ave is doing half price pizzas, kale caesar salad and wine every day from 4-6pm until July 5th, so go get it Calgarians!
