Drumheller

On a very windy October day, Davey and I headed into Drumheller for a little excursion.

Drumheller is known for its dinosaurs; they’re all over the town! It was also a coal mining town back in the day.

We got invited for a Ghost Town tour. Apparently, Drumheller has quite the spooky history with the coal mines booming back in the day it was quite a rough time for the people. If you are ever in southern Alberta I highly recommend the stop!

We also made a quick stop at the hoodoos which are these really cool rock formations. You really feel like you are in the Land Before Time! I always love seeing the hoodoos, they’re so interesting and the crazy weather meant we got them all to ourselves!

Does Drumheller remind you of a Land Before Time or is it just me?!
